  • Free entry to all 89 Texas state parks on “State Parks Day”
    On Sunday, visitors can enjoy free day-use admission to all Texas state parks as part of an annual event by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. While camping and equipment rental fees still apply, officials recommend reserving ahead as each park will limit entry based on capacity.

  • Wrong-way crash on I-30 in Fort Worth injures three
    A late-night collision in Fort Worth on I-30 involved a vehicle driving the wrong way, resulting in three people being hospitalized and westbound lanes shut down near the Jennings area. Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash and the circumstances of the wrong-way driving.

  • Fatal multi-vehicle crash in southwest Houston tied to suspected DWI
    In Houston’s Almeda Road area, a suspected impaired driver struck a vehicle, which then collided with three others, killing three people and critically injuring the driver. Authorities say the crash involved five vehicles overnight and remains under investigation.
