ICE Just Arrested Child Pornographers, MS-13 Members, and Murderers: Here's What You Need to Know

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement just announced a major sweep of criminal undocumented immigrants across the country. And the crimes they’re being charged with are some of the worst imaginable.

Child pornographers. MS-13 gang members. Murderers. Rapists. Drug traffickers. Sex predators.

This isn’t political rhetoric. These are real arrests. Real people who committed real crimes. And they were all in the country illegally.

The Specific Cases

Hsa Mu Na, a criminal illegal alien from Thailand, was convicted of producing, distributing, and possessing child pornography in federal court in Nebraska. David Diaz-Alvarado, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador and confirmed MS-13 gang member, was convicted of murder in aid of racketeering in federal court in Maryland. Kevin Damian Duhaney, a criminal illegal alien from Jamaica, was convicted of criminal possession of a firearm and attempted assault in Hempstead, New York.

That’s just three cases. But they’re representative of what ICE is arresting across the country.

The Numbers Are Staggering

70% of ICE arrests are of criminal illegal aliens charged or convicted of a crime in the United States. This statistic doesn’t even include foreign fugitives, gang members, terrorists, and human rights abusers.

Let that sink in. Seven out of every ten people ICE arrests have committed crimes. They’re not just undocumented. They’re dangerous.

And that 70% figure is just the baseline. It doesn’t include people with convictions in their home countries. It doesn’t include known gang members without a rap sheet in the U.S. It doesn’t include terrorists and human rights abusers who haven’t been charged yet.

Texas Has Seen Major Operations

Texas has been a focal point for ICE enforcement. In November 2025, a Homeland Security Task Force operation resulted in the arrest of more than 150 illegal aliens at a nightclub in San Antonio.

That’s one location. One operation. 150 arrests.

ICE conducted targeted operations in the Houston area, arresting the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens including pedophiles, gang members, serial drunk drivers, and violent criminals.

In Houston alone, ICE arrested:

  • Brayan Jose Cruz-Mendez, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras convicted of sexual enticement of a minor for indecent purposes
  • Rony Andy Martinez Lopez, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras, convicted of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor and cruelty towards a child. He was previously deported on November 29, 2024, but came back.
  • Vongphachan Phothisome, a criminal illegal alien from Laos convicted of sexual exploitation of a minor
  • Salvador Ramirez-Carrillo, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico and gang member who entered the U.S. illegally 5 times and is convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon

The National Pattern

This isn’t just happening in Texas. ICE is conducting coordinated operations across the country.

In Minneapolis, ICE arrested multiple criminal illegal aliens convicted of sexual predation against children including Pao Angelo Vang, a Laotian criminal illegal alien convicted of 2nd degree sexual assault of a child; Thong Lao, a Laotian criminal illegal alien convicted of 2nd degree sexual assault of a child; Tou Pao Lee, a Thai criminal illegal alien convicted of soliciting a minor; and Va Vang, a Laotian criminal illegal alien convicted of 1st degree sexual assault.

Four arrests. Four different victims. All children.

Over a single weekend, ICE arrested sexual predators, human traffickers, robbers, and gang members across the nation, including Andi Canales-Velasquez, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras, convicted of three counts of sexual activity with a minor using virtual reality; and Pablo Tierrablanca-Tierrablanca, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of criminal sexual conduct in the second degree with a child under 14 years of age.

The Real Impact

These aren’t abstract statistics. These are real crimes affecting real families.

Jose Flores-Ramirez was a criminal illegal alien from Mexico convicted of predatory criminal sexual assault on a victim less than 13-years-old in Lake County, Illinois. Kindu Zamambu, a criminal illegal alien from the Democratic Republic of Congo, was convicted of sexual abuse in Cheektowaga, New York. Cristian Mendivil-Diaz, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, was convicted of aggravated domestic battery and aggravated battery of a child in Clinton County, Illinois.

Children were sexually assaulted. Families were abused. And the perpetrators shouldn’t have been in the country to begin with.

The “Previously Deported” Problem

Here’s something that should infuriate you: some of these people were already deported.

Rony Andy Martinez Lopez, convicted of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor, was previously deported on November 29, 2024. He was arrested again on October 28, 2025—less than a year later.

He was sent back to Honduras. He came right back. And he continued committing crimes against children.

What’s Being Done

ICE has launched coordinated enforcement operations in major cities targeting pedophiles, gang members, and violent criminals in sanctuary jurisdictions.

This is coordinated. This is systematic. This is a federal government effort to identify and remove the most dangerous criminal illegal aliens from American communities.

And the scale is massive. DHS is releasing these announcements regularly—multiple times per week—showcasing arrests across the country.

The Reality of Sanctuary Policies

The argument is clear: sanctuary policies protect criminals. When local law enforcement doesn’t cooperate with ICE, when politicians refuse to allow ICE access to jails and detention facilities, dangerous people stay in communities longer.

Federal officials have stated that ICE law enforcement are risking their lives to protect communities while some elected officials in sanctuary jurisdictions sit by and do nothing.

The Backlash Against ICE

Despite doing this work, ICE law enforcement officers are facing more than a 1000% increase in assaults against them. Some politicians and activists continue to compare ICE to notorious historical secret police organizations and compare ICE operations to historical atrocities.

Officers are being attacked for arresting child pornographers. Officers are being threatened for removing gang members. Officers are being demonized for stopping murderers.

That’s the political reality in 2025.

The Bottom Line

These aren’t debatable cases. These are child predators. These are murderers. These are people who committed heinous crimes and shouldn’t be in America.

ICE arrested them. ICE is removing them. And ICE is doing it despite facing record numbers of assaults and death threats.

70% of ICE arrests are of people with criminal records. That means ICE isn’t rounding up innocent day laborers. ICE is targeting dangerous criminals.

And they’re getting results.

Arrests include:

Francisco Luna-Tristan, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of indecency with a child sexual contact in Kerr County, Texas.
Hsa Mu Na, a criminal illegal alien from Thailand, convicted of producing, distributing, and possessing child pornography in the United States District Court, District of Nebraska.
David Diaz-Alvarado, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador and confirmed MS-13 gang member, convicted of murder in aid of racketeering in the U.S. District Court, District of Maryland.
Kevin Damian Duhaney, a criminal illegal alien from Jamaica, convicted of criminal possession of a firearm and attempted assault in Hempstead, New York.
Leonel Longoria-Aquirino, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Dallas, Texas.
