Agents in the Ramey Sector said the three men were found to be in the country illegally and taken into custody for removal proceedings

U.S. Border Patrol said agents arrested three Venezuelan nationals during a targeted enforcement operation on June 23 in Christiansted, St. Croix, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The agency said the men were determined to be in the country illegally and taken into custody for processing and removal. Border Patrol identified them as Nervis Jose Marchan-Bracho, 53; Jesus Alberto Munoz-Lopez, 39; and Felix Jesus Munoz-Seco, 51.

“These arrests demonstrate our commitment to expanding our operational presence and addressing illegal immigration in the U.S. Virgin Islands,” said Ramey Sector Chief Patrol Agent Reggie Johnson, who said intelligence-driven operations strengthen the agency’s ability to enforce immigration laws and enhance regional security.

According to Border Patrol, the Ramey Sector is one of 20 sectors nationwide and the only one outside the continental United States, covering Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands across some 6,000 square miles of land and water.
