In this episode, we sit down with Chloe Castillo, a classically trained musician and former Youth Ambassador for the Gurwitz International Piano Competition. Since 2015, Chloe has opened recitals for renowned concert pianists and performed at high-profile events throughout San Antonio.
Her musical journey has taken her to prestigious stages like the Tobin Center and collaborations with SOLI Chamber Ensemble, as well as performances at TX State University’s International Piano Festival and Interlochen Online Summer Arts Camp. Chloe’s impressive list of accolades includes multiple honors such as MACSA’s Performance Honor Roll, the Young Artist Award, and top placements at the Texas State Young Artist Competition.
Most recently, Chloe founded an international music club, a unique venture that is connecting musicians across cultures and borders. Today, we talk with Chloe about her exciting new project, “Make Music Right,” which seeks to elevate non-degenerate music and bring it back to the forefront of American culture.
