After a whirlwind of speculation, former President Donald Trump has announced his vice presidential pick: Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio). The announcement was made on July 15, ending months of anticipation.

“After lengthy deliberation and thought, and considering the tremendous talents of many others, I have decided that the person best suited to assume the position of Vice President of the United States is Senator J.D. Vance,” Trump stated in a Truth Social post.
