Passed or pending bills in US:
The Falun Gong Protection Act, introduced in both the House (H.R.1540) and Senate (S.4914) in the 118th and 119th Congresses, aims to impose sanctions on individuals and entities involved in forced organ harvesting in China, particularly targeting those connected to Falun Gong practitioners. The Act specifically focuses on those who knowingly participate in or facilitate the involuntary harvesting of organs.
- Persecution of Falun Gong: The CCP has been accused of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, including allegations of forced organ harvesting.
- Forced Organ Harvesting: The Act addresses concerns about the forced organ harvesting industry in China, which is said to target Falun Gong practitioners among others.
- Human Rights Concerns: The legislation is framed as a response to human rights violations and the need to hold the CCP accountable for its actions.
- International Response: The Act is part of a broader effort to address human rights abuses in China and protect religious freedom.
Current Status:
- Both the House and Senate versions of the bill have been introduced and referred to relevant committees.
- The House version (H.R.1540) has been passed by the House and is now awaiting action in the Senate.
Legislation to combat forced organ harvesting has been enacted in Canada and U.S. states including Texas, Utah, and Arizona.
As awareness grows, grassroots groups like efoh.org are paving the way to engage more communities in this cause.
Our Motivation & Vision
We are deeply committed to this cause because we recognize the profound human rights violations and ethical breaches inherent in forced organ harvesting. Our dedication stems from the belief that we share a collective responsibility to protect vulnerable individuals from this inhumane practice. Together, we envision a world where people unite and take decisive action to END forced organ harvesting.
