Small Satellite Rotary Club Exposes Forced Organ Harvesting with Major Impact!

At the five-day Rotary International Convention in Calgary, Canada, a small satellite club raises awareness about forced organ harvesting. The booth, a joint effort by the CAAHT Rotary Club and EFOH Satellite Club, spotlights the interconnected issues of human trafficking and forced organ harvesting.

Additionally,  the club will host 2 viewings of the award winning documentary “State Organs” along with an Expert Panel discussion that followed.

“Mission Statement:
At the End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club (EFOH Rotary), we leverage the power of digital platforms to connect passionate individuals from around the world who are committed to service and making a positive change. Our e-club offers a vibrant and flexible space where members can collaborate, engage, and lead impactful projects that transcend borders.
Our team is committed to eradicating forced organ harvesting globally by engaging Rotarians and their communities in raising awareness, advocating for change, and supporting initiatives that drive legislative reform.”
Since 2006, forced organ harvesting has been widely recognized, but only recently have governments begun addressing it seriously, with many countries proposing or enacting legislation to combat this crime globally.

Running Petitions are :

  • G7:  https://fohpetition.org/sign-petition/
  • US Senate:  https://www.fgpa-petition.org/

Recent bills have passed in Canada and US… like the recently passed legislation S-223 in Canada.

Passed or pending bills  in US:

The Falun Gong Protection Act, introduced in both the House (H.R.1540) and Senate (S.4914) in the 118th and 119th Congresses, aims to impose sanctions on individuals and entities involved in forced organ harvesting in China, particularly targeting those connected to Falun Gong practitioners. The Act specifically focuses on those who knowingly participate in or facilitate the involuntary harvesting of organs.

Background and Context:
  • Persecution of Falun Gong: The CCP has been accused of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, including allegations of forced organ harvesting.
  • Forced Organ Harvesting: The Act addresses concerns about the forced organ harvesting industry in China, which is said to target Falun Gong practitioners among others.
  • Human Rights Concerns: The legislation is framed as a response to human rights violations and the need to hold the CCP accountable for its actions.
  • International Response: The Act is part of a broader effort to address human rights abuses in China and protect religious freedom.
Current Status:
  • Both the House and Senate versions of the bill have been introduced and referred to relevant committees.
  • The House version (H.R.1540) has been passed by the House and is now awaiting action in the Senate.
In essence, the Falun Gong Protection Act is designed to deter and punish those involved in forced organ harvesting in China by imposing sanctions, while also providing a mechanism for oversight and reporting on the CCP’s organ transplant practices.

Legislation to combat forced organ harvesting has been enacted in Canada and U.S. states including Texas, Utah, and Arizona.

As awareness grows, grassroots groups like efoh.org are paving the way to engage more communities in this cause.

Our Motivation & Vision
We are deeply committed to this cause because we recognize the profound human rights violations and ethical breaches inherent in forced organ harvesting. Our dedication stems from the belief that we share a collective responsibility to protect vulnerable individuals from this inhumane practice. Together, we envision a world where people unite and take decisive action to END forced organ harvesting.
