  • Rare Auroras Dazzle Texas Skies
    A powerful geomagnetic storm lit up the skies across the Lone Star State on Tuesday night. Residents from the Panhandle to the Gulf Coast reported vivid pink and red auroras—a phenomenon rarely seen this far south. While the display amazed stargazers, experts noted that such storms can also disrupt satellites, power grids, and communications.

  • Texas Leads U.S. in Fatal Truck Crashes Amid Slumping Enforcement
    The state reported a surge in deadly large-truck accidents while federal enforcement against unsafe carriers has dropped by roughly 60 percent. With more trucks on the road and fewer safety interventions, Texas now holds the highest number of fatal truck crashes in the nation.

  • H-E-B Expands North Texas with $14.4M Fulfillment Center
