Tailgate toy drive ahead of Baylor–Utah game
Ahead of the Baylor vs. Utah game, Waco’s “Tailgating Challenge” is sponsoring a toy-drive benefiting Toys for Tots. Fans can drop off unwrapped gifts while tailgating, combining college football energy with community giving.

TCEQ proposes new rules for concrete plant air permits
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is reviewing proposed changes to its standard permit for permanent concrete batch plants. The new rules may require permit reviews every eight years and stricter criteria for plants still under construction.

Texas A&M tightens speech rules for professors
