  • Massive shooting near Houston kills 2 children, injures 2 more
    A shooting at a truck stop near Angleton, in Brazoria County, left two children — ages 13 and 4 — dead and two others, ages 8 and 9, critically wounded. All suspects believed to be involved have been detained, and authorities say there is no continued threat to the public.

  • Texas A&M debuts “Black Out” uniforms for home game
    For its home night game versus Mississippi State, Texas A&M unveiled all-black alternate uniforms. The stadium’s end zones, sidelines, and midfield logo were also transformed for the “Black Out” theme.

  • Fort Worth gas station employee killed, suspect apprehended
    A man allegedly shot and killed a gas station employee on Eastchase Parkway, then fired at another vehicle and attempted to break into a nearby home. The suspect was arrested after a police response; there were no other reported injuries.
