See Hundreds of Christmas Trees Inside a Houston Castle While Helping Foster Kids and Veterans
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Walk into a real French castle filled with Christmas trees and watch your kids’ faces light up. Meet Santa, ride a magical train, and explore winter wonderland displays. Every ticket helps foster children escape trauma and veterans overcome PTSD.

A Castle Transformed for Christmas

Chateau Nouvelle turns into Houston’s most spectacular holiday experience from November 25-29. This isn’t your typical church bazaar with a dozen trees. We’re talking about hundreds of decorated Christmas trees inside an actual castle with 30 years of European antiques and hand-painted Italian murals.

Your kids can meet Santa (he’s there 10 AM to 6 PM), ride the Polar Express train, and explore something mysterious called “Iceland.” Local performance groups fill the castle with music. Professional photographers capture the magic. And every dollar supports Love Fosters Hope and Mighty Oaks Foundation.

Real Help for Real Kids

Love Fosters Hope works with children who’ve survived the worst—abuse, abandonment, getting shuffled between seven different homes before their tenth birthday. These kids face terrifying odds. Almost 60% end up in jail. Three out of ten homeless adults came from foster care.

Your Festival of Trees ticket helps change those numbers. Love Fosters Hope runs summer camps where traumatized seven-year-olds remember how to laugh. They match teenagers with mentors before they age out alone. Since 2009, they’ve given thousands of kids in The Woodlands area real hope for the future.

Veterans Who Almost Gave Up

Chad Robichaux survived eight tours in Afghanistan but almost didn’t survive coming home. PTSD nearly made him another veteran suicide statistic. Instead, he started Mighty Oaks Foundation to help other warriors find their way back.

They run free five-day programs at ranches where veterans help veterans heal. No therapy-speak. No clinical settings. Just men and women who understand combat trauma showing others how to live again. Over 6,000 veterans have found hope through Mighty Oaks. Marriages saved. Suicides prevented. Lives rebuilt.

Five Days of Christmas Magic

Tuesday’s VIP Black Tie Gala launches everything with cocktails and a live auction benefiting both charities. Wednesday welcomes seniors and military for just $5. Thanksgiving afternoon offers families a magical destination from 4-9 PM.

Friday and Saturday bring full-day festivities from 10 AM to 9 PM. Santa’s Workshop, the magical lights display, community performances—enough activities to fill your entire day. Every decorated tree tells a story. Every corner reveals new surprises.

The castle sits in Champion Forest like something from a storybook. The owners spent three decades collecting every antique fixture and painted mural. Now they’re sharing it for something bigger than weddings—they’re creating Houston’s newest holiday tradition with purpose.

Make Your Visit Count

Buy tickets online to skip lines or grab them at the door. Remember—all sales are final because this money goes straight to helping foster kids and veterans. Fair trade for joining something this meaningful.

Bring your family. Bring your camera. Bring your holiday spirit. But most importantly, bring yourself to be part of Houston helping Houston. When foster children find stability and veterans rediscover purpose, our whole community grows stronger.

This inaugural Festival of Trees proves the best holiday traditions start when we combine celebration with compassion. Five days where every photo with Santa, every train ride, every moment of wonder does double duty—creating memories for your family while creating hope for others.
