Thoughts on Texas: A Salvation State

“Texas is a blend of valor and swagger.”
-Carl Sandburg (1878-1967)

I’ve been thinking a lot about Texas recently. I’ve concluded that Texas is the most important state in the union.

Why?

Texas is what I call a “salvation state.” If it were not for Texas, this country could well disintegrate.

Texas has the ability to save this nation. As Texas goes, so goes the USA, I would say.

Without Texas fighting the border invasion, buttressing the Second Amendment, protecting our children in public schools from the grooming pornography they’re drowning in, pushing back on the cartels and China for their murderous fentanyl and other drug commerce directed at Texas and all the other Texas-centric issues … well, America would slide into the Socialist Communist oblivion some villains have planned for our country.

Without the fightin’ Texas people, America could completely crumble.

As states go, Texas is tops.

It’s the most patriotic, the most America-loving state there is. If you love America (Why does that even have to be posited?), you’ve got to love Texas.

Texans love their American flags. They wave them proudly and often.

Texans embody the finest of America’s Old West.

Texas has the most devout, hardworking and ambitious Latinos in our country. They see what is happening and they don’t like it.

Texas is a magnet for corporate and business relocation. This is proven by the growth of Plano, Frisco and other up and coming business megacities.

The Lone Star state has an almost unlimited amount of land into which people, newcomers can spread out their families and businesses.

And, they have bar-b-que and Tex-Mex to boot.

  • Texas is so big that even James A. Michener said  “What you northerners never appreciate … is that Texas is so big that you can live your life within its limits and never give a damn about what someone who lives in Boston or San Francisco thinks.”

  • Don’t mess with Texas–Texans are fighters. Rhode Islanders are not. People from Maryland won’t go to the mat with anybody, over anything. Therefore, it’s important that Texans fight for all states’ rights and all Americans.

Everything’s bigger in Texas—And so it is. Nuff said.

Sure, Florida plays a part. South Carolina is a haven for Patriots too. Neither has the size or fight of Texas.

We used to be able to say, Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and many other states might be “salvation states” but no more. This obviously, is a painful and intolerable situation. These states have literally been stolen.

But none of them have been as unwavering, as steadfast at Texas.

Texans: you must protect the patriotic, political and cultural excellence born into your state. It’s baked into your attitudes.

You must ensure that nobody and nothing change your state. Our country depends on it.

“You can all go to hell and I will go to Texas.” -Davey Crockett (1786-1836)
