Free snow cones, a rescue donkey, donuts, and toddler playtime — this anniversary celebration is exactly what a small-town Saturday morning should look like.
Three years ago, Dr. John and Janet Giusti opened ChiroHabit in Granbury with a clear mission: to improve patients’ lives through a holistic approach to health, wellness, and pain relief by providing excellence in chiropractic care, exercise, and education. On April 23, they’re celebrating that milestone with a ribbon cutting, a party, and a lineup that has something for the whole family — including a very special four-legged guest.
The anniversary ribbon cutting kicks off at 11:30 a.m. at 209 E. Bridge Street, just off the historic Granbury Square. It’s free, family-friendly, and the kind of community event that makes Granbury feel like home.
What’s Happening That Morning
Free snow cones and shave ice will be on hand — the perfect treat for a warm Texas April morning. Toddlers get their own dedicated playtime so the little ones can run and play while the grown-ups connect and celebrate. Texas Rescue brings a real live donkey to the party, giving kids a chance to meet one of the gentlest rescue animals around. And donuts — because what’s a celebration without donuts?
The ribbon cutting marks the official anniversary of ChiroHabit’s opening in April 2022, when Dr. John and Janet turned their dream of an affordable, holistic chiropractic practice into a real Granbury business.
Who Is ChiroHabit?
Dr. John Giusti has been practicing chiropractic care for 19 years. His path started the way so many do — as a patient himself. In high school, a workplace accident injured his neck and upper back, and chiropractic care set him on the road to recovery and eventually to a career. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 2007, specializing in soft tissue and muscle therapies, and spent years working in multidisciplinary offices with medical doctors and physical therapists before opening his own practice.
Dr. John relocated his family to Granbury in 2020 — a town he and Janet had fallen in love with long before they made it home. In April 2022 ChiroHabit opened its doors, built on the belief that chiropractic care should treat the root cause of dysfunction and look at the body as a whole.
The practice sees patients at every stage of life — from infants and toddlers to seniors and athletes — offering manual adjustments, the Thompson and Cox techniques for spinal decompression, soft tissue therapy, electric stimulation, and therapeutic ultrasound. ChiroHabit also offers complimentary Foot Leveler scans and a 15% discount for military heroes.
Janet manages the office, organizes events, and keeps the whole operation running. Receptionist Ashley — a Granbury native with deep family roots in the community — is the welcoming face at the front desk. And Dr. John’s daughters Tina and Erin are known to stop by and volunteer to get adjusted themselves, helping younger patients feel at ease.
