Welcome to today’s episode! We’re thrilled to have Keresa Richardson joining us. Keresa is not only a Republican candidate running for the Texas House of Representatives in District 61, but she is also an accomplished entrepreneur and a dedicated conservative community leader.

As the CEO of The Lawton Group, Keresa, alongside her husband J.R., has built a remarkable legacy over the past 40 years. Starting from scratch with zero customers and zero employees, their unwavering commitment to customer service and hard work has transformed their business into a thriving enterprise. Today, they proudly operate a network of Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Refrigeration, and Pest Control companies serving businesses and consumers across DFW, Austin, and San Antonio.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Keresa is deeply engaged in her community and her church. They consistently host charity and community events and their home is a sanctuary for missionaries on furlough in the US. She and J.R are not only proud parents to three accomplished grown children but also doting grandparents to five grandchildren. Their home is further enriched by the presence of their dachshund , Demi who believes she is the “leader of the pack”.
