What’s All the Buzz About?

Hopscotch has taken over a massive 20,000 square foot space in the heart of downtown San Antonio (711 Navarro St.) and filled it with 14 mind-blowing interactive art installations from over 40 artists from around the world. Think of it as the ultimate playground for grown-ups – where you can touch, play, and dive headfirst into art that responds to YOU.

This isn’t your typical “look but don’t touch” gallery. The whole point is to “elicit a sense of joy and wonder” where you can “participate in a playful manner and explore beyond your day-to-day reality.” Translation: Come prepared to laugh, explore, and maybe discover something amazing about yourself.

What You’ll Actually Experience

You’ll walk through light installations that dance around you, optical illusions that’ll mess with your mind in the best way possible, and art pieces that bring together messages from the past, present, and future. Each installation tells a different story, and YOU become part of that story.

Most visitors spend about 15-20 minutes exploring everything, but honestly, you could easily lose yourself for longer if you’re really soaking it all in and capturing those perfect shots.

The Complete Experience

Here’s what makes Hopscotch different from anywhere else in town: they’ve got a full bar and lounge area with live music, plus a food truck on the patio and a gift shop packed with unique finds. And here’s the kicker – you can take your drinks WITH you into the art gallery. Cocktail in hand while you’re exploring immersive art? Yes, please!

Plan Your Visit

Where: 711 Navarro St. STE. 100, San Antonio, TX 78205 (right in the heart of downtown)

Parking: Super convenient! Park in the Travis Park Plaza Garage right next door for just $5 for 3 hours. Enter off Travis Street between Navarro and St. Mary’s, and show your parking ticket to Hopscotch staff for the discount.

Perfect For: Date nights, friend groups, family adventures, or when you just need to shake up your routine

Group Bookings & Events

Planning something special? Hopscotch San Antonio offers group bookings that are perfect for:

  • Birthday celebrations that’ll blow everyone’s minds
  • Corporate team building (way more fun than trust falls)
  • Bachelorette parties with built-in photo ops
  • Art lovers who want to experience something totally new together

For group bookings and special events, reach out to [email protected] – they’ll help you create an experience your group will be talking about for months.

Why This Weekend?

The exhibitions rotate over time, so what you see today might be completely different in a few months. Plus, since opening in fall of last year, this has become THE social media post-worthy spot in San Antonio. Your friends are probably already planning their visit – why not beat them to it?

The Bottom Line

Families love it, kids have a blast, and you’ll definitely get some great pictures. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or someone who usually avoids galleries, Hopscotch breaks down all those barriers and invites you to just… play.

Ready to hop into something amazing? Contact [email protected] for tickets and inquiries, or check out their website to book your immersive art adventure today.

Trust us – your weekend routine just got a major upgrade.
