Granbury’s Women in Business Are Speed Networking This Tuesday — Lunch Included

90 minutes, a room full of driven women, and every connection you make could change your business — the Granbury Chamber’s Women in Business Speed Networking event is May 5.

If you’ve been meaning to grow your professional network in Hood County but haven’t found the right room to walk into — this is it. The Granbury Chamber of Commerce Women in Business group is hosting its Speed Networking Luncheon on Tuesday, May 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the David Southern Lake Granbury Conference Center. Lunch is included. The connections are up to you.

What Is Speed Networking — and Why It Works

Speed networking takes the best part of a traditional networking event — those first few minutes when you’re genuinely curious about someone new — and makes that the entire format. You move through a series of short, structured conversations, meet more people in 90 minutes than you’d encounter at three separate happy hours, and leave with a real sense of who is in your professional community.

It removes the awkward standing-alone-by-the-food-table problem. It removes the two-hour conversation with one person while the rest of the room goes unmeet. And it creates the kind of first impressions that turn into referrals, collaborations, and friendships — because you’re there to connect, and so is everyone else in the room.

About Women in Business — Granbury Chamber

The Women in Business group through the Granbury Chamber of Commerce is one of the most active professional communities in Hood County. The group hosts events throughout the year designed to educate, inspire, and connect businesswomen in Granbury and the surrounding area — from speed networking lunches to the annual WIB Summit, which has brought in nationally recognized speakers and drawn women from across the region.

This is a community built on the understanding that women in business are stronger when they lift each other up — and that the connections made in a room like this have real, lasting value.

The Sponsors Making It Happen

Presenting sponsor Olakino Wellness and Beyond is a Granbury-based wellness center located at 3408 E. US Highway 377, dedicated to inspiring health and vitality through a whole-body approach to care. Refreshment sponsor Select Agent Services rounds out the support for the event.
