Looking for a perfect holiday activity that’ll get the whole family into the festive spirit? Something that’s never been done before in this popular Houston shopping district? Rice Village is making history this season with their first-ever Ice Village skating rink, and our friends at Rice Real Estate Company are giving YOU a special discount!

This isn’t just another holiday event – it’s your chance to be part of the inaugural year of what could become a beloved Houston tradition right here in Texas, even if Mother Nature isn’t cooperating with the weather!

Be Among the First to Experience Ice Village

South Main Alliance supporters can save with a special discount code that gets you $2 off the regular admission. Instead of paying $20, you’ll pay just $18 per person – and that includes your skate rental!

Simply use discount code: ICERICE when purchasing your tickets online.

When You Can Hit the Ice

This historic first season of Ice Village runs through the holiday season:

  • Opens: Thursday, November 28 (perfect for working off that Thanksgiving feast!)
  • Closes: Saturday, January 4 (giving you plenty of time to enjoy even after the New Year)

Don’t wait to buy tickets for this inaugural event – popular times will sell out fast, especially weekend evenings and holiday dates.

Where to Find This Winter Wonderland

Skate beneath the stars at the new Ice Village in Rice Village shopping district. The outdoor rink transforms this historic shopping area into a magical winter destination with twinkling lights and festive decorations.

Location: Rice Village Shopping District 2500 Rice Boulevard Houston, TX 77005

Special Events Throughout the Season

The first-ever Ice Village will feature themed nights throughout its run:

  • Music Mondays: Skate to featured playlists
  • Pajama Skate Nights: Come in your cozy PJs
  • Family Fridays: Special activities for kids
  • Ugly Sweater Sundays: Wear your worst holiday sweater

Plus, Santa will be available for photos on select dates from November 30 to December 21!
