Lake Travis Food Festival Returns September 27 with Unlimited Tastings
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

If you’ve been looking for the perfect excuse to spend a Saturday exploring amazing local food and drinks, here it is. The 3rd Annual Taste Lake Travis Food & Wine Festival is coming back bigger and bolder than ever, and honestly? This is exactly the kind of weekend adventure you’ve been craving.

What Makes This Festival Different

Forget paying for every single bite and sip. Your ticket gets you unlimited tastings from Lake Travis’s best restaurants, plus craft beverages from local wineries, distilleries, and breweries. We’re talking four solid hours of culinary exploration where you can actually afford to try everything that catches your eye.

The festival has moved to The Meadows at Emerald Point with a completely redesigned layout. Translation: easier navigation, better flow, and more space to enjoy yourself without feeling crowded.

Here’s What Your Saturday Will Look Like

You’ll wander between tasting stations, sampling signature dishes from top local chefs alongside creative bites you won’t find anywhere else. Sweet, savory, and everything in between. Meanwhile, live music sets the mood while you sip curated wines, craft beers, and specialty cocktails.

Need a breather? Relax by the Cowboy Pool, hang out in the Longhorn Lounge, or check out the latest wheels at Covert Bee Cave’s display. If you’re bringing the family, the Kid-Zone sponsored by Primrose Schools has activities to keep children entertained while adults focus on the tastings.

The Artisan Market adds another layer of fun with handcrafted jewelry and unique finds from Central Texas vendors. It’s like getting three events rolled into one afternoon.

Smart Money: Early Bird Pricing Ends September 1st

Here’s where timing pays off. Early bird tickets are significantly cheaper and available until September 1st:

Early Bird Pricing (Until Sep 1):

  • General Admission: $55.20 (jumps to $81.88 after Sep 1)
  • VIP: $108.55 (increases to $135.23 later)
  • Kids 4-20: $12.51 (goes up to $17.85)
  • Kids 3 and under: Free

VIP Worth the Upgrade? The VIP experience, sponsored by Godinez Septic, includes 30 minutes early entry to beat the crowds, exclusive VIP lounge access, premium tastings not available to general admission, a special festival gift, and air-conditioned restrooms. For an extra $53 during early bird pricing, that’s actually a solid deal.

Best Value: Platinum VIP Package At $268.61, the Platinum VIP gets you two VIP tickets plus guaranteed parking for $268.61 total. Compare that to buying two VIP tickets separately ($217.10) plus the hassle of finding parking, and you’re paying about $50 for premium parking and peace of mind.

Why This Weekend Matters

Lake Travis has quietly become one of Central Texas’s most exciting food destinations, and this festival showcases exactly why. Instead of driving all over town to try different restaurants, you get to sample the best of the region in one beautiful lakeside setting.

This isn’t just another food festival – it’s your chance to discover your new favorite restaurant, try that wine you’ve been curious about, and spend a perfect fall afternoon supporting local businesses while having genuine fun.

Mark your calendar now. September 27th is shaping up to be one of those Saturdays you’ll actually remember.
