Howdy there, Arlington! Ready to lasso some serious wellness wisdom? Mark your calendars for Tuesday, October 14th, because the annual Aging Well Expo is riding into town, and this year it’s bigger, better, and more fun than a county fair.

This Ain’t Your Typical Health Fair, Partner

The City of Arlington is throwing the ultimate wellness party right inside the Esports Stadium Arlington, and they’re rolling out the red carpet – er, red bandana – for everyone 21 and up. We’re talking about 100 vendors, free health screenings, fitness demos that’ll get your blood pumping, and enough health tips to keep you feeling spry well into your golden years.

When: Tuesday, October 14, 2025
Where: Esports Stadium Arlington, 1200 Ballpark Way
Time: Two sessions – 9 AM to 11 AM OR Noon to 2 PM
Cost: Absolutely FREE (including lunch!)
Special: Accessibility hour from 8-9 AM for wheelchair and walker users

Yeehaw! It’s Western-Themed This Year

Here’s where it gets fun – this year’s expo has a full-on western theme. So dig out those cowboy hats, polish up your boots, and embrace your inner cowpoke. Whether you’re channeling John Wayne or Annie Oakley, come dressed to impress and ready to have some serious fun while learning how to live your healthiest life.

Free Lunch? Now That’s What We Call Southern Hospitality

Here’s the kicker that’ll make you grin wider than a Cheshire cat – everyone who pre-registers gets a completely free grab-and-go boxed lunch. We’re talking ham, chicken salad, or veggie wraps, plus a cookie and water bottle. And if you’re the type who needs that morning coffee to function? They’ve got you covered with complimentary coffee and water throughout both sessions.

But here’s the important part: You need to pre-register by 5 PM on September 25th to snag that free lunch. Don’t be the person kicking themselves later because they waited too long!

Getting There is Easier Than Roping a Lazy Steer

The best part about this whole shindig? They’ve thought of everything to make it easy for you to get there:

  • Free parking (because nobody likes paying to park)
  • Golf cart shuttles from the parking lot for anyone who needs mobility help
  • Free rides with Arlington On-Demand rideshare – just use code agingwell2025
  • Free Handitran services with the same code (call 817-275-3704, but book early!)

Why This Tuesday Could Be Your Game-Changer

Think about it – when’s the last time you had access to 100+ health and wellness experts all in one place, for free, with lunch included? This isn’t just an expo; it’s your chance to discover resources you never knew existed, get those health screenings you’ve been putting off, and maybe pick up some fitness tips that’ll have you feeling 10 years younger.

Plus, with Arlington’s western theme, you’re basically getting a fun costume party mixed with serious health education. How often does that happen?

Don’t Wait – Pre-Registration is Open NOW

The smart folks are already registering at the Aging Well Expo webpage or calling 817-575-3400. You can also swing by any City of Arlington recreation center to sign up in person.

Remember, you’ve got two identical sessions to choose from:

  • Morning Session: 9 AM – 11 AM
  • Afternoon Session: Noon – 2 PM

Tuesday, October 14th at Esports Stadium Arlington
1200 Ballpark Way

Arlington’s calling this “living your best life in The American Dream City,” and honestly? They’re not wrong. This expo is your ticket to discovering everything you need to age like fine wine instead of old cheese.

Giddy up and get registered, Arlington – your future self will thank you!

The Arlington Aging Well Expo is presented by United Healthcare Medical Solutions and WellMed Optum Care, with support from local businesses, nonprofits, and City of Arlington departments.
