This Weekend Just Got INSANE: Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Are About to CRUSH Toyota Center
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

July 19-20 | Toyota Center | Tickets On Sale NOW

Your childhood just grew up and learned how to do backflips.

Remember those tiny Hot Wheels cars you used to crash into each other? Well, they’re now MASSIVE real-life monster trucks that can literally fly through the air while shooting flames. And they’re coming to Houston this weekend to blow your mind.

What You’re Actually About to Witness

Mega Wrex. Tiger Shark. HW 5-Alarm. Bone Shaker. BIGFOOT.

These aren’t just trucks – they’re 10,000-pound metal beasts that can leap over school buses, crush cars like aluminum cans, and make more noise than a jet engine. Plus there’s a brand new villain called Skelesaurus that looks like a dinosaur had a baby with a monster truck.

Oh, and there’s a transforming robot. Because apparently regular monster trucks weren’t crazy enough.

Three Chances to Get Your Adrenaline Fix

Saturday, July 19th:

  • 12:30 PM – Perfect for families with younger kids
  • 7:30 PM – The wild night show for maximum chaos

Sunday, July 20th:

  • 2:30 PM – Sunday funday destruction

Doors open 1 hour before each show – get there early because the energy builds fast.

The Bigfoot Birthday Party You Never Knew You Needed

Here’s something epic: They’re throwing a birthday party for Bigfoot – the original monster truck that started this whole beautiful madness.

The backstory: Back in the 1970s, a guy named Bob Chandler in Missouri kept breaking his regular pickup truck while off-roading. So he did what any reasonable person would do – he put MASSIVE tires on it and accidentally invented an entire sport. That first Bigfoot became a legend, inspiring decades of bigger, louder, more ridiculous trucks.

From Hot Wheels to real wheels: In 1983, Mattel created the first Hot Wheels monster truck die-cast cars, letting kids recreate the chaos at home. Now, 40+ years later, those tiny cars have grown up into these real-life mechanical monsters that can actually fly.

Translation: You’re not just watching a show, you’re witnessing the evolution of pure American automotive insanity from a guy fixing his truck to a full-blown spectacle that travels the world.

Want to Go COMPLETELY Over the Top?

Pre-Show Party (2.5 hours before showtime):

  • Walk on the actual arena floor
  • Get within touching distance of these mechanical monsters
  • Exclusive games and contests
  • Free giveaways that’ll make your friends jealous

VIP Backstage Experience:

  • Personal tour with the actual Hot Wheels hosts
  • See what happens behind the scenes
  • VIP merch bundle
  • Feel like you’re part of the crew

The Freestyle Motocross Bonus

As if monster trucks weren’t enough, they’re bringing the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Freestyle Motocross Team. These are the people who launch motorcycles 40 feet in the air and somehow land without dying.

Your kids will lose their minds. Actually, you’ll probably lose your mind too.

Why This Beats Every Other Weekend Plan

Instead of the movies: You’re watching real 10,000-pound vehicles defy gravity

Instead of the mall: You’re experiencing controlled chaos that makes your heart race

Instead of Netflix: You’re part of a crowd going absolutely wild over mechanical mayhem

Instead of regular sports: You’re watching machines that could crush a car just by parking on it

The Smart Parent Move

Bring earplugs for little ones – these trucks are LOUD (but that’s half the fun)

Charge your phone – This is premium social media content

Check for discount codes – Mattel discounts, Macaroni Kid deals, “Last Chance” offers

Consider the Pre-Show Party – It’s the difference between watching a movie and being IN the movie

What Makes This Different

This isn’t just cars driving around in circles. This is:

  • Trucks jumping over obstacles higher than your house
  • Flame effects that’ll make you feel the heat in the stands
  • Crushing competitions where cars meet their doom
  • Freestyle stunts that shouldn’t be physically possible
  • A crowd going absolutely bonkers for two hours straight

Your Weekend Decision

You can either:

  1. Stay home and regret missing the most adrenaline-pumping weekend Houston’s seen all year
  2. Buy tickets and watch your family’s faces light up when Mega Wrex launches 30 feet in the air

The choice is obvious.

Get Your Tickets Before They’re Gone

Three shows, one weekend, Toyota Center. These shows sell out because there’s literally nothing else like this experience.

Saturday 12:30 PM – Family-friendly chaos
Saturday 7:30 PM – Full-throttle madness
Sunday 2:30 PM – Weekend finale spectacular

Bottom line: Your Hot Wheels collection just got a massive upgrade. Time to see what happens when childhood dreams get 10,000 pounds of horsepower and a license to fly.

Tickets available now at Toyota Center. Don’t sleep on this – Houston’s about to get LOUD.
