Ready for the most fascinating Saturday you’ll have all year? The 2025 Texas UFOcon is landing at the Jefferson Tourism and Visitor Center this Saturday, August 23rd, starting at 9:00 AM. This isn’t just another weekend event – it’s your chance to dive headfirst into Texas’s most intriguing unexplained phenomena.

What Makes This Year Special

This UFO convention covers Texas-based UFO sightings, alien encounters, and UFO crash sites, and it’s now in its fourth year of exploring the mysteries right in our backyard. Think about it: while other states talk about their UFO stories, we Texans get to experience them firsthand with people who’ve actually been there.

You’ll hear from researchers, authors, and eyewitnesses as they dive into UFO sightings, extraterrestrial theories, and space mysteries. Whether you’re deeply curious or just along for the ride, the conference blends education, intrigue, and a little bit of the unexplained.

Meet the People Behind the Stories

This year’s confirmed speaker lineup includes Daniel Alan Jones, Mitchel Whitington, Martha Hazzard Decker, Sharon Komorn, Lillian Jiménez, and Mindy Tautfest. Daniel Alan Jones serves as one of the key speakers – he’s an investigative reporter for The Vortex, a show that explores the mysteries of the world and beyond, plus he’s a published author and researcher of unexplained phenomena.

You’re not getting boring PowerPoint presentations here. These are real people sharing real experiences that happened right here in Texas. Some will make you scratch your head, others might make you a believer.

Why This Matters to You

Every year, more people are opening their minds to the possibility that we’re not alone. Government officials are releasing UAP footage, scientists are taking these phenomena seriously, and regular folks are sharing their stories without fear of ridicule. With each passing year, more and more of us believe that aliens exist and just might be visiting this planet on a regular basis.

Whether you’re a total skeptic, a true believer, or somewhere in between, this event will give you something to think about. At minimum, you’ll have incredible stories to share at dinner parties for years to come.

What to Expect

This isn’t a stuffy academic conference. It’s designed for regular people who are curious about the unknown. You’ll get a mix of:

  • Real eyewitness accounts from fellow Texans
  • Research presentations that actually make sense
  • Discussion of famous Texas UFO cases you’ve probably heard about
  • The chance to ask questions and share your own experiences
  • A community of people who won’t laugh when you mention that weird thing you saw last summer

Make Your Weekend Unforgettable

The event takes place at Jefferson Tourism and Visitor Center, 305 E. Austin St. Jefferson, TX 75657. Jefferson is already one of East Texas’s most charming towns, so make a whole day of it. Grab lunch after the conference, take a steamboat ride, or explore the historic district.

Craig Woolheater and the Texas Bigfoot Research Center present this year’s UFOcon, and they’ve been organizing these events to create a space where curious minds can explore these topics without judgment.

Your Next Move

Tickets and information are available through multiple platforms, so don’t wait until the last minute. All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled, but honestly, this is one Saturday you won’t want to miss.

The biggest mysteries of our time might have answers hiding right here in Texas. Whether you walk away convinced we’ve been visited by extraterrestrial life or you just enjoy a fascinating day of storytelling, you’ll leave with a new perspective on what’s possible.

Sometimes the most interesting adventures happen when you step outside your comfort zone. This Saturday, let your curiosity lead the way.
