Your October Guide to Free Music, Food, and 90s Nostalgia at Arlington’s Levitt Pavilion
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Beatles tributes, Grammy winners, and Collective Soul—all free (mostly) on the downtown Arlington lawn

October in Arlington means cool nights, live music under the stars, and the grand finale of Levitt Pavilion’s concert season. And this year? They’re going out with a bang.

From a Beatles tribute that’ll have you singing “Hey Jude” to a 90s throwback fest featuring Collective Soul, Fastball, and Tonic (yes, really), the Levitt lawn is the place to be this month. Add in cultural celebrations with incredible food, a toy drive, and a BBQ gathering that connects you with volunteer opportunities—and you’ve got yourself a packed October calendar.

Here’s everything happening, week by week.

Week 1: Beatles & Hispanic Heritage

Hard Nights Day: Beatles Tribute

When: Friday, October 3, 7:30 PM
Cost: FREE

If you grew up singing Beatles songs (or your parents did, or your grandparents did), this one’s for you. Hard Nights Day brings the magic of the Fab Four back to life with all the hits you know by heart. Texas singer-songwriter Paul Renna opens the show.

Bring your lawn chair, grab your spot early, and get ready for a nostalgic sing-along under the stars.

Hispanic Heritage Celebration

When: Saturday, October 4, 5:00 PM
Cost: FREE

Now in its fourth year, this celebration is a full-on fiesta featuring food trucks, vendors, dancing, and an incredible lineup of performances. Presented in partnership with the Arlington Latino Advisory Council, this is one of the Levitt’s biggest events of the year.

The Schedule:

  • 5:00 PM – Salsa at the Gardens (come ready to dance!)
  • 5:50 PM – Sam Houston High School Ballet Folklorico
  • 7:00 PM – Latin Express
  • 8:30 PM – Five-time Grammy winner Little Joe y La Familia

Wear your dancing shoes and arrive early—this event draws a crowd for good reason.

Week 2: Texas Country & Asian Heritage

Dalton Domino

When: Friday, October 10, 7:30 PM
Cost: FREE

Dalton Domino brings his Texas country storytelling to the Levitt stage—songs about loss, grit, and redemption that hit you right in the feelings. Fort Worth singer-songwriter Brock Roggow (formerly of The Weathered Souls) opens the night.

Bonus: The Levitt is hosting a toy drive during this concert to benefit the Mission Arlington Christmas Store. Bring an unwrapped toy for kids 17 and under and help make the holidays brighter for local families.

Asian Heritage Celebration

When: Saturday, October 11, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Cost: FREE

This celebration showcases more than 30 Asian cultures—many of which have thriving communities right here in Arlington. Presented by the Levitt in partnership with the Arlington Asian Heritage Celebration Committee, expect a spectacular afternoon of music, dance, fashion, martial arts, and food.

What You’ll See:

  • Lion dances
  • Traditional instruments
  • Art demonstrations
  • K-pop performances
  • Sumo demonstrations
  • And so much more

Bring the whole family—this is education, entertainment, and incredible cuisine all rolled into one beautiful afternoon.

Week 3: Red Dirt & 90s Throwback

Micky & The Motorcars

When: Friday, October 17, 7:30 PM
Cost: FREE

Fan favorites Micky & The Motorcars return to the Levitt with their “Texas Red Dirt” sound—road-worn anthems drawn from real life. Fort Worth’s Homebody, an all-woman string band, opens the show.

If you love Texas country with heart and soul, this is your Friday night sorted.

Do Good Fest Texas: 90s Throwback Night

When: Saturday, October 18, 6:00 PM
Cost: $10 donation (benefits Tarrant Area Food Bank)

Okay, stop everything. If you ever made a mixtape, owned a Discman, or sang along to “Shine” in your car, this night was made for you.

The Lineup:

  • Collective Soul (“Shine,” “December,” “The World I Know”)
  • Fastball (“The Way,” “Out of My Head”)
  • Tonic (“If You Could Only See”)

All three bands. One night. One lawn. Your entire 90s playlist coming to life.

Admission is just a $10 donation, and every penny goes to Tarrant Area Food Bank. Tickets and VIP upgrades available at dogoodfest.com/admissiontx.

Important notes for this event:

  • Bring your own lawn chairs
  • No outside food or drinks allowed (except sealed water bottles)
  • Trust us, you’ll want to get there early

Week 4: BBQ & Community

Men Serving God: BBQ & Brotherhood

When: Tuesday, October 21, 6:00 PM
Cost: FREE

This gathering combines free BBQ, live music, and connections with 30 local organizations offering volunteer opportunities around Arlington. Hosted by Men Serving God, it’s open to everyone and designed to build fellowship, service, and community spirit.

Looking to give back? Want to connect with neighbors? Hungry for good BBQ? This event checks all three boxes.

Tips for Your Levitt Experience

Parking: All City of Arlington lots and public downtown spaces are free, plus parking at 101 Center, Pinnacle Corp. on Abram Street, and the Tarrant County Subcourthouse.

Seating: Bring lawn chairs or blankets. You can also snag seats on the City Hall steps or brick walls along the sides of the lawn.

Arrive early: The best spots go fast, especially for the big events like Hispanic Heritage and Do Good Fest.

Check the weather: October in Texas can surprise you. Bring layers for cooler evenings.

Why October at the Levitt Matters

“October will be filled with outstanding live music, community connection, and plenty of fun,” said Letatia Teykl, the Levitt’s executive director. “Our partners are helping us do more than put on concerts—they’re making a difference in the community.”

And that’s the Levitt spirit in a nutshell. Yes, you’re getting incredible free music (and one very affordable 90s fest). But you’re also supporting toy drives, food banks, and community organizations. You’re celebrating the diverse cultures that make Arlington vibrant. You’re connecting with neighbors on a lawn under the stars.

So grab your lawn chair, mark your calendar, and get ready for an October to remember. From Beatles to Tejano legends to 90s rock anthems, the Levitt Pavilion is serving up the perfect fall playlist—and you’ve got a front-row seat.
