Make Your Own World Cup Jersey: Inside Dallas’s Central Pitch Pop-Up
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

With the FIFA World Cup 2026™ in town, a downtown Dallas pop-up lets fans build a fully custom Umbro jersey — pick your color, add patches for every country in the tournament, and put your own name on the back

If the World Cup has you itching to rep your team — or both teams, if you are heading to a match and cannot pick a side — downtown Dallas has the spot for you. A new pop-up experience called Central Pitch lets you design and customize your very own World Cup jersey on-site, start to finish.

Here is how it works: you start by picking out your Umbro jersey and choosing your color. Then you select your patches — they have every country competing in the tournament — and add your name or a player number. The team customizes it for you right there, so you walk out with something nobody else has.

It is perfect if you want a fully custom look, or if, like a lot of fans heading to games, you want to show love for both sides on the pitch.

More Than Just Jerseys

Central Pitch bills itself as Dallas’s premier global football hub for the World Cup, and the jersey customization is just part of it. The space offers a mix of immersive activations, including on-site product customization, retail, and photo moments — a one-stop shop for soccer fans looking to soak up the tournament atmosphere in the heart of downtown. The experience is powered by live, made-on-the-spot merchandise customization, and beyond the public pop-up, the venue also transforms into a flexible space for private events, team parties, and brand takeovers.

Part of a Bigger Downtown Celebration

The pop-up is one piece of a massive downtown Dallas effort to roll out the welcome mat for the World Cup. Downtown Dallas, Inc. has organized more than a month of programming under the “Global Games 2026” banner, turning the city’s core into a fan destination throughout the tournament.

That includes Main Street getting reimagined as a pedestrian-friendly “civic living room” with shade, seating, games, and daily programming; a cooling “Chill Zone” at Pegasus Plaza with frozen treats and misting stations to beat the Texas summer heat; backyard-style concerts and an immersive light installation called The TUNNEL at Main Street Garden; and car-free Saturdays on Main Street with live music, local vendors, and chalk art. Soccer fans looking for even more can also check out the “Soccer: More Than a Game” exhibit that recently opened at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.

So whether you are in town for a match or just catching World Cup fever from the couch, a trip downtown to build your own jersey makes for a fun afternoon — and a one-of-a-kind souvenir to remember the summer Dallas hosted the world.
