The Wino Wine Fest comes to Fort Worth on June 13 with 40-plus Texas wineries, live music, and an intentionally intimate format. And across the state from the Piney Woods to the Hill Country, Texas wine festivals are popping up all summer long.
Texas is the fastest-growing wine region in the United States — and summer is when the state celebrates that fact in style. From a boutique indoor festival in Fort Worth to wine trails through the Piney Woods and Hill Country country weekends, here is your guide to Texas wine festivals in June and July 2026.
Fort Worth — Wino Wine Fest, June 13
The Wino Wine Fest is not your typical wine festival — and that is exactly the point. This indoor and outdoor festival showcases 40-plus different wines from incredible wineries from all throughout Texas, each bringing a selection of their most popular, unique, or new wines. It is not the typical festival that has thousands of people in attendance — attendance is intentionally limited to around 200 per session to create a better, more personal experience.
Every ticket includes a souvenir wine glass and a Wino Fest guide to the wineries in attendance, along with educational materials about Texas wine. Throughout the event there is live music, food vendors, and a few more surprises. And 100 percent of wine sales go directly to the winery — you can buy a bottle to take home or a glass to enjoy on-site.
This festival is specifically designed to promote and support Texas wineries — there is no kickback structure, no upsell pressure, and no limit on how many different wines you can try during your session. Unlike other festivals that charge an entrance fee for only 10 or so samples, you can try all the different types of wine in attendance.
The Fort Worth Wino Wine Fest focuses specifically on wineries that are at least 30 minutes away from the venue — so local attendees get to experience producers they couldn’t easily visit on their own. While the festival works with hundreds of wineries throughout the state, this particular event is designed to promote an eclectic variety — some big names, but a lot of smaller boutique wineries or wineries whose wine you can only get at the winery itself.

Wino Wine Fest Across Texas — Same Great Format, Different Cities
The Wino Wine Fest is not just a Fort Worth event. Wino Fest operates wine festivals all across Texas — bringing the same intimate, producer-focused format to multiple cities throughout the year. Check winofest.com for the full schedule of Texas locations and dates throughout summer 2026.
Seguin — Craft Beer and Wine Fest, July 3
Just outside San Antonio, the historic German community of Seguin hosts a Craft Beer and Wine Festival on July 3 — a patriotic long-weekend celebration combining two of Texas’s greatest outdoor pleasures. Seguin sits about 35 miles east of San Antonio on I-10, making it an easy day trip for Hill Country and San Antonio visitors alike.
Fredericksburg — Texas Wine Country, Year-Round
Fredericksburg and the surrounding Gillespie County Hill Country remain the anchor of Texas wine tourism, with more than 50 wineries within easy driving distance of the town square. The Fredericksburg Wine Road 290 hosts events throughout June and July — check the individual winery calendars for weekend tastings, releases, and special events. Grape Creek Vineyards, Signor Vineyards, William Chris Vineyards, and Becker Vineyards all host summer programming.
Piney Woods — Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail
The Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail Passport runs through the Piney Woods of Southeast Texas — a self-guided trail connecting wineries across the region with a passport program that rewards visits with tastings, discounts, and prizes. The trail runs throughout summer with individual winery events scattered across June and July. Perfect for an East Texas weekend combined with the Texas Blueberry Festival in Nacogdoches on June 13.
Grapevine — Texas Wine Capital, Every Weekend
Grapevine holds the official designation of the Grape Capital of Texas and hosts wine-related events nearly every weekend of the year. The Grapevine Vintage Railroad runs wine-themed excursions through summer. The Main Street tasting rooms — Delaney Vineyards, Messina Hof Urban Winery, Sloan and Williams, Vineyard at Florence, and others — offer tastings and weekend events throughout June and July. Check grapevinetexasusa.com for the full summer calendar.
A Note on Texas Wine
Texas is the fourth largest wine-producing state in the United States, with more than 400 licensed wineries across the state. The Hill Country AVA — centered on Fredericksburg — is the recognized heart of premium Texas wine production, but producers in the High Plains, the Gulf Coast, and East Texas have been quietly building their own reputations for years. The fastest-growing wine region in the country is right here in your own backyard, and summer is the perfect time to explore it.
