The 5th Annual Fredericksburg Craft Beer Festival is June 12 and 13 with 30-plus Texas breweries on the historic Marktplatz. And across the state, cities from Dallas to North Texas are raising a glass all summer long.
Texas has more than 400 craft breweries — more than all but a handful of states in the country. And every summer, communities across the state celebrate that tradition with festivals that bring brewers and beer lovers together in some of the best outdoor settings you’ll find anywhere. Here is your complete Texas craft beer festival guide, anchored by Fredericksburg’s milestone 5th annual celebration this June.

Dallas — Backyard Pitmasters at Bitter Sisters Brewing, June 13
The same Saturday as Fredericksburg, Dallas’s Bitter Sisters Brewing Co. hosts Backyard Pitmasters — a ChickensU event pairing craft beer with competitive backyard BBQ. A great local option for Metroplex beer lovers who can’t make it to the Hill Country.
Bitter Sisters Brewing Co., Dallas — Saturday, June 13, 2026
Austin — Texas Craft Brewers Festival, November 14
The biggest craft beer festival in the state returns to Fiesta Gardens in Austin on Saturday, November 14, 2026. Organized by the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, this is the only festival in Texas organized by and for the craft brewing industry itself — featuring exclusive and rare releases, one-off beers, and specialties you simply cannot find on store shelves. Tickets go on sale in June. It is a 21-plus event and historically sells out in advance.

The Texas Craft Beer Scene in Numbers
Texas is home to more than 400 craft breweries operating across the state — a number that has grown more than tenfold since 2011 when craft brewing laws were modernized. Every major city has a neighborhood taproom culture, and the Hill Country alone has become one of the premier beer and wine destination corridors in the South. From Jester King’s wild fermentation farmhouse in Austin to Saint Arnold in Houston — the oldest craft brewery in Texas, founded in 1994 — the Texas craft beer story is one of the most compelling in American brewing.
When you buy a ticket to a festival like Fredericksburg’s, you’re not just sampling beer. You’re supporting the small, independent businesses behind every pour — and helping a community raise money for local charities at the same time.
