Gyros, baklava, live Greek music, traditional dancing, carnival rides, church tours, and 15,000 of your closest neighbors — Houston Greek Fest returns to the Energy Corridor May 14 through 16 for just $10.

If you’ve been driving past St. Basil the Great Greek Orthodox Church on Eldridge Parkway for years without stopping, this is the week to finally pull in. With a legacy spanning over 25 years, the Houston Greek Fest has established itself as the premier festival event in the West Houston area, dedicated to sharing the rich tapestry of Hellenic culture with thousands of attendees. The 27th Annual edition runs Thursday, May 14 through Saturday, May 16 — and your $10 ticket is good for all three days.

What’s Waiting for You Inside

Guests of all ages are welcomed into a vibrant and family-friendly environment, where they can indulge in the finest Greek foods and pastries, embark on church tours, enjoy shopping, partake in traditional dancing, and engage in a variety of children’s activities.

The food is the main event — and it is the real thing. Authentic gyros, spanakopita, pastitsio, souvlaki, loukoumades, baklava, and more, all made from traditional recipes by the community that has been preparing them for generations. Greek beer and wine flow throughout the festival. Live Greek music fills the grounds from opening to closing each day, with traditional dance performances that invite the crowd to join in by the end of the night.

For families, the festival includes classic carnival rides — the Wizzer, the Giant Slide, and a Moonwalk — alongside carnival games with prizes and an arts and crafts station where kids can let their imagination run. The church doors are open daily until 8 p.m. for tours, with clergy and volunteers on hand to welcome visitors and answer questions about the Orthodox Christian faith.

$10 Gets You All Three Days

Admission is $10 and your ticket is valid for all three days of the festival. Children 10 and under are admitted free. The festival is cashless — bring a credit or debit card for all concessions and purchases. Vendor preview begins at 11 a.m. Thursday before the doors officially open at 4 p.m.

A Festival That Gives Back

Hosted by Saint Basil the Great Greek Orthodox Church, the Houston Greek Fest serves as a platform for supporting outreach, ministries, and youth programs within the community. Every ticket purchase helps fund the church’s programs and charitable partnerships — so your gyro is doing double duty.
